Joining

Membership is currently open to adults aged 18+. If you’d like to have a go at rowing, you can submit your details for a “Come and Try” session below – one of our organisers will get in touch with you directly to find a day that suits. There’s no commitment, and you can have up to three trial sessions before deciding whether or not to join.

If you are ready to join, you can either submit a Membership Application form online or download a PDF to print. Once your form has been submitted to the Membership Secretary, they will contact you with instructions on how to pay your subscription fee.

Subscription Fees

The very nature of this community movement makes Scottish Coastal Rowing a uniquely inexpensive way to get out on the water, ensuring that this is a sport available to anyone and everyone. We still need funding to pay for running costs including boat storage, insurance and maintenance.

Our income comes from a mixture of fundraising, private donations, and subscription fees with all funds going directly towards running and building our community club. Annual subscriptions run from 31st January, and for 2025 are as follows. These will be reduced by 50% for any members joining on or after the 1st September.
